Fishing

Anglers will find ideal waters in Wesel to land a big fish.

The following waters are available to anglers all year round:  Auesee with around 200 hectares of fishable area, marina, Flürener Altrhein, fishing route to the Rhine from the Grav-Insel side, sections of the Rhine and the entrance to the Wesel-Datteln Canal

Fish species: eel, ide, perch, bream, chub, gudgeon, pike, carp, ruffe, roach, rudd, bleak, catfish, zander

Guest anglers are very welcome. Fishing licences are available from ASV Wesel e.V. To fish in Germany, you need both a valid fishing licence and a water licence.
